A successful Christmas Fair and Charity Raffle...
Last Sunday 4th December we were delighted once again to open the doors to the King’s Bruton Christmas Fair. It was a hugely successful day with over 40 West Country makers and producers selling their wares, supported by current and new parents, OB’s and the local Community. BTEC Hospitality pupils provided a fantastic pop up café, serving refreshments and homemade cakes and a bakery selling homemade Christmas cakes, mincepies and Christmas puddings which proved very popular.
We were lucky enough to have Naomi Warren running a Silversmithing Workshop and Georgie Newbery a Christmas Wreath demonstration - thank you to both for generously giving their time and talents. Alongside the Christmas Fair, we ran an online and traditional Christmas House Hamper Charity Raffle, thank you to you all for donating to the Hampers and buying tickets. It is a whole School community collective effort, and together we have raised over £3,200 for The Growing Space and Friends of King’s Bruton.
Wishing you all a Happy Christmas.
