We were delighted to raise over £2000 last term for Horatio's Garden...
Our Spring term charity was Horatio’s Garden and we are delighted that we were able to raise £2,117. This was through many events such as the Community Concert, a mufti day, the Lyon House Dodgeball, the Priory House Easter Egg Hunt, the BTEC Enterprise Carnival, the Prefects' Bake Sale and the Priory House L6th Form February Challenge. £820 of this was raised at the Community Concert with Bruton Choral Society, Bruton Primary School, some of our parents, a professional orchestra and Mezzo Soprano, Louise Innes leading a rendition of John Rutter’s ‘Feel the Spirit’ which was incredible to be part of and to watch. Overall, our pupils, staff and parents have given generously and we know that this money will be put to great use at the Salisbury Horatio’s Garden.
Wow! What an incredible term you have had. We are all so impressed by your absolutely amazing pupils. They are so kind, hard working and generous. It was a pleasure to meet Felix in the Salisbury garden when he came to collect a Horatio’s Rose for his teacher. Your fundraising will make such a difference to the patients, staff, friends and family who use the garden - well done to all involved. We are so grateful to King's Bruton for the generous donation of £2,117, for funding towards the running costs of Horatio’s Garden South West. - Rosie - Events Manager, Horatio's Garden
