Good fun was had by all at the Staff vs Pupils Charity Hockey Match...
On Thursday, we had a brilliant Staff v Pupils Charity Hockey Match for the school charity of the term Beat, which provides support, information and resources for people affected by eating disorders and their families.
After a competitive and very enjoyable match, the pupils ended up winning 2-1. Credit must go to Mr Cupit’s skilful reverse to score and to Mr Godfrey’s rapid pace up the wing!! With great support from the crowd fuelled up on ice-cream, over £200 was raised for Beat. With many more charity events coming this term, this was a great way to start the fundraising, and this will hopefully be a match that will occur for many more years - I am sure the staff are already planning their comeback!
