The French play was enjoyed by many pupils.
Indeed, a great deal of the pupils took advantage of the French play on offer last Tuesday and it certainly helped their understanding. The format was fun, and it was presented in an easily accessible form for the pupils. The vocabulary was based on IGCSE vocabulary and many of the pupils understood a good deal. A few pupils were ‘volunteered’ to come up on stage and interact with the actors: well done to Luca, Tyler, William, Archie and Alexandra. A few pupils commented:
- “Excellent. Good atmosphere. I want to be a French actor now!!” Luca
- “I enjoyed watching the play, it was very interactive and funny. The actors were great” Tom
- “The play was very interesting and easy to understand, the actors were quite funny as well. I would love to go again, and I really think that it has improved my GCSE vocabulary.” Scarlet
