A great deal of the pupils took advantage of the Spanish Play on offer on Thursday and it certainly helped their understanding.
The format was fun and it was presented in an easily accessible form for the pupils. The vocabulary was based on IGCSE vocabulary and many of the pupils, mainly 5th Formers, understood a good deal. A few pupils were ‘volunteered’ to come up on stage and interact with the actors: well done to Llewelyn, Ben (from Wells Cathedral School), Izzy and Claudia. We have had a few comments from pupils:
“The play was very comical and enjoyable. It was also interactive which tested some pupils’ understandings. The play was easy to follow, and the actors did a great job of doing this. Both actors were very good, enthusiastic and made everyone laugh. I would highly recommend the play to other pupils”. Juliette
“I really enjoyed the play, thank you so much for putting it on for us. It was very useful to hear a Spanish accent. Also, extremely funny especially the many costumes they wore!” Ella
We are looking forward to watching the French play on Tuesday!
