This year, some of our 3rd Form pupils who are studying Spanish are competing in the Routes into Languages Translation Bee competition. This is a national contest where pupils are given one minute to translate as many short sentences as possible in front of an audience, allowing them to showcase great recall and pronunciation skills. Stage 1 was won by Poppy, Fliss and Lucy, and pupils are now busy preparing for Stage 2, which is all in the future tense. Next term sees the regional finals, where our strongest performers will compete at an event in Bath. Good luck and well done to these strong linguists!
