A fantastic time celebrating the European Day of Languages...
We had a fantastic time celebrating the European Day of Languages on Tuesday 26th September. Throughout the day, we had a carousel of activities which included learning Italian and Swedish with the 3rd Formers, 4th Formers and 5th Formers. We also played Guess Who, did some calligrams and made some media videos about the School in Italian. Our school caterers prepared a selection of delicious European specialities for lunch.
After school, we had a quiz on different cultures with the junior pupils who enjoyed some European snacks. And, finally, we finished off the day with a Reading Poetry Evening with our Sixth Form linguists. We are extremely lucky at King’s Bruton to be able to embrace different cultures. Overall, we had a very successful day.
