King’s Bruton Psychologists' synapses were fired at Dr Guy Sutton's talk.
The U6th Form Psychologists had the most amazing trip to The Gryphon School to hear from Dr Guy Sutton. The pupils were able to see first hand a brain dissection, looking at the different parts of the brain. The talk also included an interesting section on criminality and got the pupils thinking about whether crime is down to brain structure or free will; a debate that is ever changing. It was the perfect opportunity to find out more about the brain and how it works, even finding out about how Albert Einstein’s brain was different to a ‘normal’ person's brain! The pupils left inspired to research more into the connections between criminality, brain structure and the law.
