Sophia, a pupil in Priory House's U6th Form organised a very successful "Go Wild Fun Run" course on Sunday.
The sun shone on the fourteen teams who ran the ¾ mile of obstacles and many came to cheer on and purchase a burger, drink or ice cream. The New House boys who were dressed in togas were the definite winners of the "Best Dressed Award" whilst the Pink Runners proved to be the fastest pupils around the course. "Alfie and the Blackford Conscripts" won the egg run which involved carrying an egg around the course and not breaking it. Perrott Hill pupils and parents also attended and were very impressed with the team spirit of the event. Thanks must go to the Priory House staff, Mr Davies, Mr Dawe, the Blackford House boys who helped transport tyres, the Lyon House boys who sorted out the BBQ and particularly the Priory House girls who helped as marshals, time keepers and car park attendants. Over £400 has been raised for the King's Gap Year Link Indian Orphanage which Sophia will visit this summer as part of her gap year. An album of photos from the event can be seen below.
