The New Musicians’ concert was delightful reports David Gorodi, Director of Music at king's Bruton.
This concert is perhaps the most daunting performance these young pupils face - their first performance at King’s. They were all very nervous but produced some memorable moments. I particularly enjoyed Blues for Bones played by Adam Barrett-James, he captured the blues style brilliantly. I also really enjoyed hearing some folk music, Constance Pollard played Drowsy Maggie with real energy and zest. My congratulations to all those who took part, I look forward to hearing these pupils sing and play again later this year.
