Poetry Reading Evening

This is one of my favourite MFL events as it shows an impressive array of talents combined with a wide and varied choice of subjects. The Sixth Form pupils read out beautiful poems in their target language. The themes were varied: war, humour, the seasons, love, death, to mention but a few.

It is not an easy task to read in public, however, the linguists quickly found confidence in their reading.

Thank you to all the Sixth Form pupils who contributed to this exciting evening. I hope a few get the poetry bug.
