Blackford House gave faultless performances of two episodes from the classic 1970s comedy, 'Fawlty Towers' to packed houses.

The principal characters of Basil (Luke), Sybil (Seb), Manuel (Lluis) and Polly (Hector) were convincingly played with huge energy. The supporting cast were similarly word perfect and believable. Altogether they displayed great comic timing which had the audiences laughing out loud throughout the two episodes on both nights.

As ever, the actors could not have done so well without the support of a fantastic stage crew (led by Harry) and the ‘front of house’ crew (led by Oliver). Most worthy of note, however, was the direction of this play by Ben, who ran with the organisation of the Play, from the very outset, with minimal staff assistance. This brilliant rendition of a great play was incredibly well organised by the boys of Blackford House and that was perhaps the real triumph.

Thank you to all of those who came to support and enjoy the play and especially those who were kind enough to send us such kind comments afterwards.
