On Wednesday 28th November, the Sixth Formers who study languages at King’s Bruton spent most of the day in Stroud attending lectures in French, German and Spanish.
We all had a fantastic time and listened to different teachers who explained to us the different cultures in France, Germany and Spain. Please read some feedback from the pupils themselves:
GERMAN: JUGENDKULTUR
“The German lecture, as a whole, was very good. Indeed, the topic of the lecture was very interesting, and the level of the language used was challenging, but manageable. It was also great to hear a native speaker, for it will help to get used to the different accents”. Feedback from Giovanna (L6th Form - studying German and French).
Feedback from Guthrie (L6th Form - studying Spanish and French).
In English: “The Spanish lecture that took place on Wednesday 28th November was very interesting and interactive. The main topic of the lesson was Spain and its cultures in different regions. The teacher spoke clearly and everybody was interested and attentive”.
FRENCH: LE PATRIMOINE
“The lecture covered a wide range of the French culture and values, as well as illustrating the facts about the top destinations in France and the top destination for smart tourism. The Instagram page format was well thought out and unique”. Feedback from Lluis (U6th Form - studying French).
