The 5th Form organised an amazing ball for themselves as a post examination reward last Saturday.
Having worked hard over their revision for weeks, they let their hair down and donned evening suits and cocktail dresses to mark the end of an era before beginning life in the Sixth Form at King’s. The evening began sipping non-alcoholic cocktails with exotic names such as Margaritas and Mojitos on Paddock, thanks to the creativity and inventiveness of the Food Science Department. They then moved inside to the delicious smell of posh pizzas and summer berries followed by kind words of praise for those involved from the Headmaster. It was of course then time for more food and dancing in the Junior Common Room. A giant chocolate fountain with marshmallows and fruit dips had been hired and pupils made kebab dips which were dunked into milk chocolate drizzle. The 5th Form had put together a play list of their favourite songs which they sang at full volume until it was time to meander back to their boarding houses.
