Year of the Monkey started early at King’s with 550 Fortune Cookies successfully sold by the International Committee to the whole school at break on Friday 5th February.
The festivities continued on Sunday evening with our now traditional Chinese New Year buffet with copious amounts of food from the Rickshaw restaurant served up in the decorated JCR. This was followed by games, singing, laughing and some imaginative forfeits. Monkeys are clever, skilful and inventive as well as being good at problem solving with good memories. Their success may make them naughty so watch out for an eventful year ahead. A big thank you to all those who helped with the preparations and particularly Ann for her cooking skills and Benson for his photos.
