This term our Friday afternoon activity has been simple jewellery making.
We have a delightful group of pupils who work independently and are full of inspiration for many new jewellery projects. The items they are producing are lovely, pretty and stylish. This week we even started making rings from household cutlery. The group thoroughly enjoy themselves during the session, working away and listening to music. The comment I hear most often is “it’s very therapeutic.”
There is a genuine air of wellbeing in the workshop on a Friday afternoon and it’s a therapeutic way to end the week.
