Double victory and triumph for our KSB MotorSport Team at Chivenor and Castle Combe Race Tracks...

For the second successive race, the Senior KSB MotorSport Team have secured a podium finish. At the Chivenor Heat last week, Hannah M in her first competitive outing drove a superb tactical race, securing victory in class as well as beating a very competitive scratch car in the process. This week at Castle Combe race circuit, we saw Hannah QC drive a brilliant race. Starting out at the back of the field, through a dramatic first lap, she steered the car through the pack and had reached 4^th place. In the second lap we achieved our fastest recorded speed ever, nearly 28 mph. The progress continued and we were fortunate to be party to the best drive the Team has seen, and an outstanding performance at a circuit where we had yet to finish. As the race continued, one of our competitors pulled out with technical difficulties and the remaining two cars were picked off by Hannah. We completed the race as strongly as we had begun and passed the chequered flag a lap ahead of our closest rival, in a starting field of twelve F24+ Teams.

The KSB MotorSport Team have worked hard over the last few weeks and months making improvements and developing a reliable and competitive race car and these victories are testimony to their efforts and resilience. The whole Team can be incredibly proud of what they have done and following the Castle Combe result, and as we enter the Summer break, the King’s Bruton MotorSport Team are currently sitting at the top of the National F24+ Kit Car Championship Table and enjoying our best ever season to date.
