The L6th BTEC Hospitality pupils recently had a very special trip to London to gain and insight into the varied world of Hospitality.
Included into the busy programme was a day at The Ritz! We were so lucky to have a full guided tour of the hotel including the most exclusive private dining rooms and suites by the Manager. Followed by meetings with members of staff from the HR, Finance, Marketing and Concierge teams, all giving us insights into their roles within the hotel.
In the Rivoli Bar, which is designed to create the impression of walking into a glittering jewellery box, the staff mixed us their very special ‘Ritz 100’ cocktail, an extraordinary Champagne cocktail with the addition of gold leaf!
We ended our visit by enjoying a beautifully served Afternoon Tea in the Marie Antoinette Suite. We all had a truly wonderful and once in a life time experience.
