On Sunday evening, Blackford House ran their annual charity film night in aid of the two school charities for this year, namely Guide Dogs and the Yeovil Hospital Breast Cancer Unit Appeal.

Over 80 pupils braved the cold weather to attend a showing of ‘Surf’s Up’ in the Fitzjames Theatre. The evening was organised, run and overseen by the Blackford House Prefects and senior boys and the fact that the setting up, performance and clearing up went without a glitch says much about them and their leadership.

It was a lovely way to spend a cold Sunday evening, watching a ‘feel good’ film with members of our special community whilst raising some money for these two very worthwhile causes.
