This week the 3rd Form delivered two contrasting, but equally impressive, evenings of reflections about their Battlefields Trip which they went on before Half-Term.
Despite only having two weeks to prepare, there were some excellent performances on both nights. On Wednesday 3 East and 3 South presented a wide-ranging array of poetry, history and drama connected to the First World War. On the Thursday night 3 North and 3 West focused on the years 1916 and 1917 through some excellent dramatized poetry, and historical reports about the events and weaponry based on some first-hand accounts and stories. There were plenty of fine performances which will live long in the memory, especially the unique whistling choir and Mr Oulton taking on the role of a First World War veteran.
