Form 3 East are currently reading a book by Katherine Rundull about a heroine living on the rooftops. To help them imagine what it would be like to see the world from on high, as the heroine does in Rooftoppers, I asked St Mary’s Church whether the class could have a look at Bruton from the top of the church. The weather was kind to us, slightly chilly and cloudy but dry, and from the moment they emerged from the tiny door after an exhausting, twisty climb the pupils could admire Bruton from on high. Huge thanks to Jocelyn our guide, and to St Mary’s for allowing us to experience such a wonderful sight.
