Our German pupils add so much value to our King's Bruton community...

King’s is blessed to welcome German pupils on a regular basis and has been doing so for decades. German pupils have traditionally excelled here at King’s, enjoying the excellent pastoral care that is afforded at a small, rural school where all the pupils are known. Often, though not exclusively, their sport has been important, and again, many German pupils have flourished with the excellent hockey, rugby, tennis and netball training. Last year we even had one German boy representing the School in the cricket 1^st XI. Many enjoy the wonderful music and drama facilities provided at King’s, and all throw themselves into the myriad of activities on offer. Lifelong friends are made as our German pupils get to know the other pupils and improve their language through this immersive opportunity.
