Week 8 - a busy and successful week of sport...
Rugby
There was success for the U15A team as they defeated Monkton Combe in R3 of the NatWest Bowl, with Oliver and Harry leading from the front. Equally, on Saturday afternoon, the 1st XV claimed an impressive and satisfying 49-27 victory versus Clayesmore, with Mats being named player of the match after scoring 4 tries and being defensively dominant. In some close fixtures on the junior side there were excellent performances from Hayden, Zak, Buster, Willoughby & Gabriel in their fixtures.
Hockey
Hockey had a very big week as both the Boys’ U18 and Girls’ U16 indoor teams qualified for the Regional Finals, to join the U18 girls in doing so. Outdoors there was further success with the U16 girls beating Blundell’s 5-1 in the cup, before there were excellent victories versus Blundell’s on Saturday for the 2nd XI, 3rd XI, U15A and U15B teams. Notable performances came from Harriet, Sophia, Freya, Minnie, Tilly, Ruby and Laura.
Football
The football team enjoyed playing a fixture at the Dorchester stadium versus Milton Abbey and Hugo was player of the match.
Badminton
The badminton team lined up against Downside with Siru being named player of the match.
