Our Assembly this week was focused on talking...
Our School Counsellor, Susie, our Independent Listener, Bryony, and our Head of Foundation Safeguarding Lead, Mr Lowry, talked to the pupils and explained what their role is at King's and emphasised the importance of not holding things in and talking about any worries or concerns pupils may have. Susie and Bryony are based in our Health Centre and pupils are encouraged to contact them if they feel they need to talk to someone. Opening up is so much better than masking how you are feeling.
Talking is so important and Susie and Bryony can provide a safe place for a pupil to pop in to chat through any worries.
