An action packed Field Day for the 4th Form CCF pupils...
On Friday 15th November, members of the 4th Form Army and Navy cadets participated in a wonderful action-packed day full of team building and adventurous activities. Some of these activities included whittling masterclasses, axe throwing and a plethora of survival skills. The marvellous weather lifted the moods of all pupils involved, as they made the most of the fresh air whilst learning new skills and spending time with their fellow year group cadets. Mr Barrow, Contingent Commander of CCF at King’s Bruton, described the day as a “great success” as pupils now have the “necessary skills to partake in external survival courses”. The activities were put together by an external company, which let students across the country learn outdoor skills. This Field Day was particularly exciting for King’s as it was the first one back since COVID-19.
