We are delighted to introduce our lovely new Receptionist, Julia Waterton.

In her own words...

Having lived in the area for nearly 30 years, I am well aware of the high reputation that King’s enjoys, as well as knowing some staff members who sing its praises. It is lovely to be working here particularly as I have had such a warm welcome.

I was brought up in the Far East and New Zealand, but educated in England from the age of 11, eventually settling in the Cotswolds where I married, and moving to the Shaftesbury area with my husband where our two children were raised.  Once they ‘fled the nest’ I returned to full-time work initially at Milton Abbey School for a few years and then St Mary’s, Shaftesbury for the next 9 years in the same role as I have at King’s Bruton.

I have SCUBA dived (a course given to me by my husband for my 40^th birthday), skydived, bungy jumped, been paragliding and microlighting, but now enjoy walking with, and without, our dogs and my latest interest, Nordic walking.
