?The two 35 Mile Ten Tors Teams completed their last training expedition before the event on the weekend of 11th May.
The teams departed school on Friday night for two nights out on the moor. The weather was variable and produced some challenging times over the weekend. All pupils knuckled down to some arduous walking preparing them wholly for the demands of the challenge ahead. Tors were revisited and the typography of the moor learnt giving them confidence going forward. There was some strong leadership and excellent navigating, both of which we are hoping will be repeated during the event. Now pupils have two weeks for blisters to heal and kit to be assembled! Challenging times lie ahead but the eternal sense of achievement is what will drive them on. This truly is one of the hardest youth challenges on offer to pupils. We wish them well!
