CCF Outdoors and Adventure

The 5th Form Advanced Infantry ended their CCF training as Cadets with a Range Shoot at Yoxter Ranges, Priddy.

The group were operating from the 100m point and for many this was their first live range shoot. They began with a twenty round shoot to get the rifles zeroed in and they then proceeded to have a scoring shoot of ten rounds in the prone position and five rounds in the kneeling position.

The standard of marksmanship was excellent and the cadets were able to practice the skills they had been taught throughout the year. Many cadets achieved marksmanship qualifications. The NCOs led by example on the day and the top shots were CSM Myles and SSgt Archie . Ssgt William and Sgt Felix were also complimented for their skills and accuracy. An album of photos from the day can be seen below.
