This week has been British Nutrition Foundation Healthy Eating Week.
BNF Healthy Eating Week celebrates and promotes healthy eating, as well as food provenance, cooking and being active. Over the years, it has become a focal point during the school calendar to promote health.
At King's, our Chartwells catering staff have done us proud and pupils have had some fantastic food on offer during the week.
BNF Healthy Eating Week highlighting ‘drink plenty’ with main salads for lunch of fresh green vegetables, good grains, chick peas and seeds, ribbons of courgettes, feta cheese and pearl barley salad or fresh broccoli, roasted beetroot, tomato and asparagus risotto and vegetable kebabs.
On a typical week, delicious food is on offer that is full of flavour and colour, including scrumptious roasts, curries and much more all made fresh by our wonderful catering team, Chartwells.
