Yesterday afternoon, 91 pupils from the 4th and 5th form attended a Chemistry Lecture Demonstration on ‘Gases in the Air’ at Sherborne Boys' School.

The lecture was given by Tim Harrison from Bristol University’s Chemistry Department and provided pupils with an opportunity to experience the effects of liquid nitrogen and dry ice and several minor explosions (or vigorous chemical reactions…).
