Mitosis - A brilliant reason to study Biology A-Level

Biology Science

In the Biology A-Level classroom...

The L6th Form Biologists enjoyed one of their “required practicals”, producing slides to show Mitosis occurring in the root tips of garlic bulbs. The pupils enjoyed a “eureka moment” when they were able to see visible chromosomes in various stages of Mitosis, which is one of the most visually stunning events.

It was with genuine enthusiasm and excitement that they were able to photograph and share their work with each other.

Another brilliant reason to study Biology, watching the most incredible events occur before you.
