At King’s we offer an inclusive, dynamic and varied range of Activities to stretch, engage and challenge our pupils outside formal academic time.
Every week, over sixty extra-curricular activities are on offer to pupils. The majority take place between 4:30-5:30pm Monday to Friday. There is plenty for everyone: from Astronomy to Yoga; Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award to Barbershop Singing; Mindfulness to Volleyball; Editing the School Magazine to Horse Riding. We launch new activities every term based on pupils’ feedback and pupils select their preferences at a convention at the start of each term. We would love to welcome prospective parents and pupils to King’s to get a real sense of what the pupils are currently achieving in activities.
The current Activities Brochure can be read online below or downloaded for printing here.
The extra-curricular programme is a strength of the school, catering for interests as diverse as yoga and the Combined Cadet Force, as well as an extensive range of musical activities. All pupils take part in activities and questionnaire responses indicate that this programme is very highly valued by pupils and parents alike.
