It was a super event and well attended by parents and staff of King’s Bruton, as well as the local community.
The boarding Houses were well represented: Arion House and Wellesley House had a tombola stall, Priory House a gift stall and New House were selling delicious gingerbread and jams. Over 55 stalls came to the event, providing a wonderful selection of gorgeous gifts and produce. Special mention must go to the wonderful King’s DT stall who had made 100 wooden Christmas decorations which were very popular.
A pre-Christmas Fayre lunch was held for the new parents and pupils starting in 2016.
The Bruton Choral Society sung carols from the balcony, whilst visitors sat and enjoyed their tea and cakes at the afternoon tea stall.
Special thanks to the Blackford House boys who, with their usual efficiency, helped set up and clear away and to the New House boys for helping with the teas and parking.
Many thanks, also, to the Friends committee who worked tirelessly to help make the day memorable and to everyone who came along to support the Fayre.
