This week the BTEC Hospitality pupils have produced some outstanding Middle Eastern dishes.
The pupils have been completing the Asian Food Unit; after preparing Indian, Chinese and Japanese dishes last term we decided to look at a different area of Asia. The pupils have been delighted with the outcomes of their ‘Persiana’ style recipes which were full of Eastern promise. The dishes demonstrated the use of different spices and ingredients to produce Mezze and sharing plates, slow cooked tagines, salads and vegetables along with sweet treats.
